Books on genetics in Kannada to be released on September 21

Mysuru: Two books on genetics in Kannada have been authored by Dr Suttur S Malini. The books will be released on September 21 at 4 pm at Vignan Bhavan in Manasagangotri.
The books are titled- Anuvanshiya Kayilegalu ( Genetical diseases) and ‘Vydyakeeya Vyrudhyagalu’ (Medical disorders).
Malini is a professor in the department of studies in Zoology, University of Mysore.
Prof Nilgiri M Talawar from Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies ( KIKS) has said “Malini is an eminent professor who through her books is spreading a knowledge on genetics in Kannada”.
Suttur seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the ceremony. MPs Prathap Simha and V Sreenivas Prasad will release the books.
Former VC Prof S N Hegde will speak on the books.
Vice- chancellor Prof G Hemanth Kumar will preside the ceremony.
Dr C Sharath Kumar, Sanganeshwar and Lakshmi were present at the press meet.
