Books ‘Avaru Hodamele’ and ‘Cine Sadhakara Turning Point’ released

Mysuru: Senior journalist and author S Prakash Babu has penned two new books, Avaru Hodamele and Cini Sadhakara Turning Point, which were released at Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Ashram, in the city on Tuesday.
The book release event was jointly organised by the Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Himalaya Foundation and CVG Publications, Bengaluru.
The event was presided over by Avadhoota Datta Peetha Seer Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji, Junior pontiff Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji and noted writer C P Krishnakumar, popular as CPK.
Other dignitaries present included former MLC D Madegowda, K J Kumar, Ravikumar of Negilayogi Trust, K Raghuram Vajpayee, Ananthu of Himalaya Foundation, Maddikere Gopal, President of Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishat and cartoonist M V Nagendra Babu.
The book Cini Sadhakara Turning Point shares intriguing insights about several celebrities, including the popular Sandalwood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa.
The second book, Avaru Hodamele, highlights the lasting impact of 35 notable individuals, including Rashtrakavi Kuvempu, former Chief Minister late D Devaraj Urs, and thespian of Kannada cinema Dr Rajkumar, on the society.
