BJP will win over 300 seats: Amit Shah

New Delhi: BJP president Amit Shah on Friday claimed that the ‘BJP will win over 300 seats in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election. The party will form the government on its own with absolute majority’.
In his maiden media briefing along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the fag end of Lok Sabha election, addressed at the party office in the city, Shah said ‘the pre-poll alliance will continue and the other parties interested to join the board are also welcome’.
Shah attributed his claim to the detailed study conducted by the party workers from grass root level.
Shah also expressed his displeasure over media persons not raising the issue of 80 BJP workers who have been killed in election related clashes, mainly in West Bengal.
Shah was also surprised that ‘ most of the clashes occur in West Bengal where Mamata Banerjee is the Chief Minister. There are no clashes in other States too, where the party is contesting Lok Sabha elections’.
