BJP stir against Siddu in Kodagu: Irate supporters in Mysuru stage road block, set tyre on fire

Mysuru: Following the incident of pelting eggs on the car of Opposition leader Siddaramaiah and black flag protest by BJP Yuva Morcha workers in Kodagu, the angry supporters of the leader led by former MLA M K Someshekar staged a flash protest in Mysuru. 

Congress workers staged a sit in protest demonstration against BJP and pro- Hindu organisations near Ramaswamy circle in the city.

Opposition leader Siddaramaiah had gone to Kodagu to inspect rain damages in the day, when BJP and pro- Hindu activists staged a protest and threw eggs.

After this incident, irate Congress workers staged a counter protest against BJP in many places.

In Mysuru former MLA M K Somashekar and others leaders assembled near Ramaswamy circle and stopped the buses and torched the used tyres in the middle of the road.

Somashekar warned BJP “If you disturb Siddaramaiah, Congress workers spread across 224 Assembly constituencies will also protest. Our party workers will attack BJP ministers”, Somashekar warned again.

Congress leaders Dairy Venkatesh, Yogesh, Veena, Guna and other leaders were present.
