BJP leader Arun Jaitley passes away

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley has passed away on August 24. He was 66.
Jaitley a former finance minister was ailing from sometime and had been admitted at All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( AIIMS) on August 9. He was on life support from the past few days.
According to the statement issued by Dr (Prof) Aarti Vij, chairperson of media and protocol division, AIIMS, the end came at 12.07 pm. He was treated by a multidisciplinary team of senior doctors.
He was the finance minister during the BJP government at the centre from 2014 to 2019.
