BJP Corporators to donate honorarium for flood relief

Mysuru: BJP Corporators of the wards under Krishnaraja assembly constituency in the city have decided to respond to the plight of flood victims in the State.
They have decided to donate their honorarium of two months to the flood affected people in north Karnataka.
The corporators resolved, during an emergency meeting called by former minister and MLA S A Ramdas at his office in command area development authority (CADA) office premises, in the city on Saturday.
They will also do shramdan at the affected areas after the situation returns to normal.
Ramdas who collected information related to the damages caused in the rain, directed MCC commissioner over phone to take measures to remove blockages in storm water drains, clear water stagnated on the road side and clean the major drains.
