Bhagwan Bahubali’s 75th Mahamasthakabhisheka at Gommatagiri Sri Kshetra on December 13

Mysuru: Preparations have been all made for the 75th Mahamasthakabhisheka of Bhagwan Bahubali at Sri Kshetra Gommatagiri and Jatra Mahotsava at Bilikere in Hunsur taluk on Friday at 11 am.
Padmashri Jain Mahila Samaja, Mysuru has sponsored the puja.
Seer Sri Bhuvanakeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Sri Kshetra, Gommatagiri, seer Dr Sri Devendrakeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Sri Kshetra Hombuja and Seer Sri Abhinava Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Sri Kshetra Shravanabelagola will grace the occasion.
Suttur seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will release the Smarana Sanchike.
Meghalaya Governor C H Vijayashankar will inaugurate the programme. Rajya Sabha member and Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala Dr D Veerendra Heggade will be present. Hunsur MLA G D Harish Gowda will preside.
Minister for Planning and Statistics D Sudhakar, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and MLA G T Devegowda, National Working President of Bharatiya Jain Milan D Surendra Kumar and K S Shruti, President of Halebeedu Gram Panchayat will be the chief guests.
Various programmes have been organised from December 12 to 15, as part of the platinum Jubilee celebrations of Mahamasthakabhisheka.
