Bengaluru: To enable citizens to reach out to police quickly with their complaints or other grievances, Namma Bengaluru police have now allowed the public to reach them through WhatsApp service. Citizens can now lodge their complaints to the police on WhatsApp no 9480801000.
Bengaluru police commissioner B Dayananda tweeted that “In the first step towards upgrading 112 service, citizens can now reach out to police in emergency situations or even complaint on 9480801000.”
Until now, complaints were recieved on ‘Namma 112’ control room.
