Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway: ADGP Alok Kumar to inspect from Kumbalgodu

Bengaluru: Amid rising accidents on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, ADGP Alok Kumar (Traffic and Road Safety) will inspect the Expressway from Kumbalgodu on the outskirts of Bengaluru to Ramanagara on Tuesday. He is expected to hold a meeting with the authorities of National Highways Authority of India, Public Works Department and Regional Transport Office, it is learnt.
His decision to visit the Expressway follows after a car driver driving on the Expressway shared a video of a bike rider speeding towards him from the opposite direction near Mandya on Twitter inviting criticisms from all over.

ADGP Alok Kumar who took note of it, tweeted that “Checking for the footages to get the vehicle number. We will find out the biker and will book for dangerous driving.”
