Belagavi- Mysuru flight diverted to Chennai! Official explains reason

Mysuru: Following the inclement weather that forced the diversion of Belagavi- Mysuru flight to Chennai Airport, here is an official version.
R Manjunath director of Mysuru Airport has explained the reason behind the incident.
Manjunath told Mysoorunews.com “following the variations in environmental parameters caused due to heavy rain in the city on that day (November 16) the pilot got a call to safe land at Chennai. The issue was related to flight operator (Trujet) and further details we don’t know, because the flight eventually touched down in Chennai”, he added.
Earlier in the day a few photographs related to the TruJet flight, especially of the damaged landing gears surfaced on social media.
On Monday TruJet flight 2T 543 took off from Belagavi Airport at 6-50 PM and was scheduled to land here in Mysuru at around 8-15 PM. However owing to the last minute changes, it was diverted to Chennai.
