Mysuru: Sandalwood actor Shankar Ashwath is known for his straight talk that often hits people hard. That is precisely why he doesn’t hesitate to call himself as a ‘cab driver’ the new found role in his real life that he does with a passion.
As a cab driver, Shankar Ashwath has highlighted on his Facebook wall (in Kannada) how the vehicular users travelling on newly laid 10 lane Mysuru- Bengaluru Expressway are risking their lives by driving in a reckless manner. The lure of reaching the inter-city destinstion in 90 minutes, those coming from the capital city are driving according to their whims flouting the norms, zipping their way, ending in mishap.
Those locals residing in the villages on the either side of the highway are making their way through barricaded roads, adding to the mishaps.
It’s my earnest request to those travelling on the highway irrespective of vehicle drivers and pedestrians to be cautious. Or else in a hurry to reach in 90 minutes, you may lose your own life in 30 seconds. Or else, become immobile for permanent even to tread inside the village.
