Basic infra in Agrahara ward gets Rs 2.5 crore boost! MLA Ramadass kickstarts works

Mysuru: If all goes according to the plans, Ward 51 (Agrahara) in Krishnaraja Assembly constituency in the city is all set for a make over on basic infrastructural facilities front, at an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 crore.
MLA S A Ramadass on Saturday laid foundation for various works.
The works include- laying of drinking water pipeline on Tyagaraja road first cross, interlock tiles for the lane behind Patrakarthara Bhavan, UGD pipeline on Tyagaraja road fifth cross, grills for the parks between Ramanuja road 12th cross and 13th cross, storm water drain near Sharada Vidyapeeth and new office of MCC zone-1.
Ramadass said “various other works are planned as it is intended to develop 423 km length of road in the constituency as Safety Road. The information has been collected on those places where CCTV cameras should be installed and electric poles.”
To check recurrence of any untoward incidents, a meeting of police officers was conducted on June 7 itself to make police stations people friendly. We will create all facilities to facilitate policing, said Ramadass.
Corporator B V Manjunath, BJP K R Constituency Vice- president M R Balakrishna, Santosh Shambu, Yuva Morcha president Manu Appi (Shaiva), Women’s morcha leader Shantha and others were present.
