Bandhan Bank opens 2 new branches in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Bandhan Bank announced the opening of two new branches at JP Nagar and Chikpet in Bengaluru. With these new branches, the total number of bank branches across the country crossed 1664. 
The JP Nagar branch in Bengaluru was inaugurated by a prominent personality like M V Ramaswamy Raju and Adya Priya from Kannada film industry. The Chikpet branch was inaugurated by popular silver merchant Nagaraj and Kiran Kumar, the leading commercial machinery distributor of Bengaluru. 
Senior officials from Bandhan Bank and other local dignitaries also attended the inaugurations.
The Bank also opened additional 4 branches in the states of Telangana, UP and Gujarat, today.
Bandhan Bank now has around 5.5 lakh customers and a network of more than 170 banking outlets in the state of Karnataka.
Bandhan Bank is spread across 35 out of the 36 states and union territories in the country and serves more than 3.25 crore customers. It is committed to fulfilling the diverse financial needs of every Indian citizen irrespective of where they reside, what financial product they may need or which banking channel they may prefer – physical or digital. 
Speaking on the occasion, Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, MD & CEO, Bandhan Bank, said, “We are glad to announce the opening of new branches in Karnataka. We are committed to serving the various banking needs of customers in this state. The trust we have received from our customers has given us the confidence to expand our presence here.  While we continue to focus on consistent improvement in our digital banking capabilities for customer convenience, we are also setting up branches so that we also cater to those sections of the population who still believe in human connect and interaction in their banking relationships.”
