Ban on two-wheelers at BR Hills on January 15 & 16

Chamarajanagar: In view of ‘Biligiri Ranganathaswamy’ car festival from January 15 to 18, the district administration has banned two-wheelers to the Biligiriranga Hills on January 15 and 16.
The car festival attracts thousands of devotees every year from far and wide. However, with more vehicles it becomes difficult to manage the traffic as the two-wheelers cross through the narrow road that connects the hill. To prevent accidents in the stretch and to conduct the festival peacefully, the district administration has banned the two-wheelers on January 15 and 16.
