‘Baana Dariyalli’ the title of Golden Star Ganesh’s new film; shooting from May

Mysuru: ‘Baana Dariyalli’ this is the title of Sandalwood ‘Golden Star’ Ganesh’s new cinema, the title of which was launched on Ugadi on Saturday.
Preetham Gubbi is the director of the film which also has a tag line- Nodu Entha Chanda meaning ‘look how beautiful’ in English.
The poster of the film gives a clue of the exotic locales the film will be shot, especially in foreign countries. It will be an adventurous cinema with ample dose of love. The shooting is expected to start in mid May.
Coming back to the title- the line ‘Baana Dariyalli’ seems to be derived from Puneeth Rajkumar’s all time hit song- Baana Dariyali Surya Jari Hoda, Chandra Mele Banda, Nodu Entha Chanda…’ from ‘Bettada Hoovu’.
Puneeth as a child artiste won National award for this film. Hence this song has an emotional connection with Kannadigas and mainly Puneeth’s fans.
