B Y Vijayendra to campaign at Siddaramaiah’s stronghold Varuna

Mysuru: BJP State Vice-president B Y Vijayendra will be campaigning for the party candidates in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts on April 21.
Vijayendra also the member of 2023 Elections Campaign Committee Member will canvass for BJP candidate of Hanur constituency Dr Preethan Nagappa at Hanur at 10.30 am, N Mahesh of Kollegal Assembly constituency at Yalandur, Santhemarahalli and Ummathur at 1.30 pm, Varuna Candidate V Somanna at Varuna and T Narasipur candidate Dr Revanna at T Narasipur at 3.30 pm and Krishnaraja Assembly candidate T S Srivatsa at Rajendra Kalamandira in Mysuru city at 6 pm.
Vijayendra son of former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has a good influence in Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts.
Vijayendra’s campaign in Varuna assumes significance for the reason that Opposition leader in Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah is the Congress candidate there.
Vijayendra is also contesting his debut election from Shikaripura Assembly constituency in Shivamogga, which is represented by his father Yediyurappa in the Assembly.
Considering Vijayendra’s successful assignments in the past, BJP is actively using him in campaigning, as he had also tilted victory in favour of the party for the first time in K R Pet constituency in Mandya in the by-election in 2019.
