Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: MDJA felicitates two senior journalists

Mysuru: On account of 75 years of celebration of independent India, Mysore District Journalists Association (MDJA) felicitated two senior journalists on Monday.
Reporter of Aftab-E-Karnataka Rahmatulla Khan and retired reporter of Akashvani K V Srinivasan (Brother) were felicitated at their houses in Mysuru and Kalkunike, Hunsur respectively.
Former Mayor Arif Hussain gave a financial assistance of Rs 5,000 from his pocket to Rahmatulla Khan.
MDJA President S T Ravikumar, General Secretary M Subramanya, State committee member B Raghavendra, Urdu journalist Afsar Pasha, journalists Nayimulla, Kaiser Ahmed, Hunsur Taluk Journalists Association President H R Krishna Kumar, Hangod Nataraj, Gajendra, Sampath Kumar, Prathap and Vaddambalu Ravi were present.
