Azad shouldn’t have ditched Congress: B K Hariprasad

Bengaluru: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council B K Hariprasad on Friday said “Ghulam Nabi Azad shouldn’t have ditched Congress party”.

Speaking to a news channel, Hariprasad who is one of the strong Gandhi loyalists (of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi) said “Ghulam Nabi Azad has been the beneficiary of the party. If a leader of the calibre of Azad takes such a decision, don’t know where dies the politics stand in this country”.

Earlier in the day, Azad resigned from all the posts and primary membership of Congress party.
