Azad quitting Congress wasn’t right: Kharge

Bengaluru: Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha M Mallikarjun Kharge found fault with the resignation of senior leader and his predecessor in the upper house of parliament Ghulam Nabi Azad to Congress party.

Kharge told media persons “Azad was one of the senior leaders, who had been suitably accommodated as a Rajya Sabha member for six terms, union minister for 25 years, prominent leader even at booth level of the party. Now, when the party needed a leader of calibre of Azad at this difficult juncture, he chose to quit the party”.

Moreover he has exited the party by levelling serious allegations against various leaders of the party,  which is also unfair.

It is believed that Azad will float a new party. Let’s see how many will he be able to make win in the forthcoming elections, dared Kharge.
