Ayurvedic Doctors Conference on April 2 to press for fair treatment of medical practitioners

Mysuru: The National Integrated Medical Association (NIMA) has extended
an invitation to doctors and practitioners of traditional Indian medicine to participate in the upcoming NIMA Ayur Vaidya Sammelana 2025.

The announcement was made during a
press conference held at the Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA), where NIMA’s senior members addressed the media.

The NIMA Ayur Vaidya Sammelana 2025 is scheduled to take place on April 2 at
MMC&RI Platinum Jubilee Auditorium, J K Ground, Mysuru, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar will inaugurate the conference, with Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao and Social Welfare Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa participating as the Guests of Honour.

Dr Chandrashekar A S, President of NIMA Mysuru District, accompanied by Dr Jagdish
Nayaka, Dr Shashidhar B N, Dr Aprameya Raman J and Dr Mallikarjuna Swamy,
emphasised the significance of integrated medical practice and the challenges faced by
Ayurvedic practitioners in Karnataka.

They reiterated the need for equal recognition and fair treatment of Ayurvedic doctors, urging the state government to implement the existing guidelines to ensure a supportive working environment.

Prominent medical professionals will present sessions on various topics, including
advancements in Ayurvedic treatments and their role in addressing critical health issues.

NIMA office-bearers gave a call to the practitioners from across the State to attend the conference and contribute to the discourse on the future of traditional medicine in Karnataka.
