Author of book on Siddaramaiah named as Kannada Book Authority Chairman

Mysuru: Writer Manasa Mysuru of Mysuru has been appointed as the new Chairman of Kannada Book Authority.
According to a notification issued from Kannada and Culture Department Manasa has been appointed with immediate effect for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is first, as the Chairman of Kannada Book Authority.
Manasa who has authored several books, had also edited a book titled ‘Sadanadalli Siddaramaiah’ brought out by his Tanu Manu Prakashana, a publication house. The book highlights the budgetary speeches made by Siddaramaiah as a Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Opposition Leader in the Legislative Assembly.
He has also authored another book ‘Kannada Bhashe Mattu Sahitya Darshini’.
Manasa is the husband of Manjula Manasa, the former Chairperson of Karnataka State Commission for Women. Manjula Manasa is a close aide of Siddaramaiah.
