Audio gate! Congress workers protest against State Government

Mysuru: Hundreds of workers of Congress party have staged a protest against BJP led State Government in the city on November 4.

The party workers from Mysuru city and rural committees under the leadership of former minister and MLA Tanveer Sait and former MLA M K Somashekar assembled at Gandhi Square in the city and raised slogans demanding the dissolution of the government.

The audio tape that has been leaked where Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is himself heard saying about the plot, with Home Minister Amit Shah aware of it.

Somashekar demanded the intervention of President of India and to dissolve the government.

City Congress President R Murthy, rural president Dr B J Vijaykumar, KPCC women’s president Dr Pushpa Amarnath, youth president Mohsin Khan, former ZP President K Marigowda, former mayors B K Prakash, Narayan and Pushpalatha Chikkanna, Corporators Lokesh Piya and Shobha Sunil, former women’s commission chairperson Manjula Manasa, leaders Ashokapuram Raju, Bhaskar, Eshwar Chakkadi, Dairy Venkatesh, Nasir and other leaders participated in the protest.
