Audio clip over supplying Oxygen cylinders to Chamarajanagar! Ex-MLA Vasu demands action against IAS officer

Mysuru: Following the surfacing of an audio clip containing the purported conversation between a drug controller and the representative of a gas agency over previous Deputy Commissioner of Mysuru Rohini Sindhuri, in relation to supplying medical oxygen cylinders to Chamarajanagar District Covid Hospital, former MLA Vasu has sought action against the IAS officer, if the content of the clip is genuine.
Addressing media persons at his home office in Jayalakshmipuram, Vasu who didn’t mention the name of Sindhuri, however urged the state government to initiate stringent action against the IAS officer who has been referred to in the audio clip.
The incident of 24 Covid patients dying due to lack of oxygen within 24 hours in Chamarajanagar is a historical tragedy. It happened due to the lapses of the officer. Health minister should be responsible to take action, Vasu said.
The district administration of Chamarajanagar said “24 patients died, while court says 36. Why they are hiding the exact numbers of death? The IAS officer has made a serious mistake and must ask apology of Mysuru citizens,” demanded Vasu.
Worst is that the officer also defamed politicians of Mysuru. Because, the officer before bidding adieu to Mysuru alleged that she was a victim of conspiracy for acting against land mafia. It is a silly reason. The government must order for CID inquiry, Vasu urged.
