Bengaluru: An audio clip struck the already already disturbed BJP government like a lightning in the state on Monday.
The audio clip contains the voice of State BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel purportedly speaking about dropping Industries Minister Jagadish Shettar and RDPR Minister K S Eshwarappa from the ministry.
However, Kateel has denied the voice in the clip as his.
Kateel said “I will write to the chief minister about the clip. An inquiry should be conducted and it is only then that the truth about the audio clip will come out.”
We are currently not discussing about leadership change in the State. Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa is the soul of the party and he is our unanimous leader. Eshwarappa and Jagdish Shettar are like two eyes of our party, Kateel added.
Denying that he is suspecting the role of anybody behind the audio clip at present, Kateel preferred to wait till the investigation was conducted and completed.
“I will answer all the questions after the investigation. I am also thinking over moving court,” Kateel said.
