Atal Behari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary! BJP Mysuru backward classes morcha cleans pond, plants saplings

Mysuru: On account of 97th birth anniversary of former prime minister late Atal Behari Vajpayee, BJP Mysuru district backward classes Morcha took to the conservation of nature.

A Kalyani ( pond) near the foothills of Chamundi was cleaned and saplings were planted around in commemoration of the tall leader ever seen by the country.
Morcha President Jogi Manju said “Vajpayee who served as prime minister for three terms has left behind an indelible mark. It was Vajpayee who set the tone for the dream of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya turn into a reality with his Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra. Apart from politics, Vajpayee was also involved in various social and cultural activities.”
Starting from 1961, Vajpayee served in various capacities as member of National Board for Integrity, president of All India Station Masters and Assistant Station Masters Association, member of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Memorial Committee and Janmabhoomi Smaraka Samiti to name a few.
Besides, Vajpayee was on several panels at Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
As a poet and writer, Vajpayee who had made a mark, had served as the editor of Rashtradharma, Panchajanya, Veer Arjun and other journals.
BJP backward classes Morcha vice- President Mahadev and Krishnamurthy, general secretaries Gopal and Maniratnam, K R Constituency Presdent Shivappa, Guruprasad, Somu, Rajiv Sneha Balaga Convener Kumar, Rajesh, Savita Ghatke, Susheela, Prasad, Purushottam and Shivaraj were present.
