Assault case! SDPI denies accused are party workers

1 min read

Mysuru: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) State president Eliyas Muhammad Thumbe has denied that those arrested in the assault case in Bengaluru are the workers of the party.

In a press release, Thumbe has clarified that “the party is no way related with the case. However it is being reported in the media that those arrested in the case are party workers. The party doesn’t believe in violence. It is the responsibility of the police to investigate the case with utmost honesty and find out the real culprits. It is the responsibility of judiciary to punish the culprits”.

In the wake of public outrage against CAA, NRC and NPR, efforts are being made to divert the mind of the people and also mislead them only to create adverse opinions against SDPI. The party despises such attempts, the release added.
