As Cyclone Nivar hits TN, Bengaluru witnesses light rainfall

Bengaluru: The impact of Cyclone Nivar was felt, as light rainfall was witnessed in most parts of the city on Thursday.
As expected Cyclone Nivar made a landfall around midnight 2-30 AM at Puducherry in Tamil Nadu. Its impact was felt in several districts in South India, which received maximum rainfall. Outside Tamil Nadu also forecast reports indicated light rainfall.
In Chennai and other districts power supply has been suspended and more than 250 trees have uprooted in the city only.
