As 14-day ‘close down’ began, Mysuru fell into stoic silence

1 min read

Mysuru: As the State-wide ‘close down’ began from Tuesday 9 pm, to check the spread of Novel Coronavirus, the city fell into a stoic silence.

The ever bustling central business district comprising Sayyaji Rao Road, Albert Victor road, Bengaluru- Nilgiri road and all others wore a deserted look.

To prevent the lumpens from breaking the rules, the police erected barricades at the main junctions. Some of these were partly covered with banners listing do’s and don’ts during the pandemic.

The restrictions are in place till May 12.

Stay Home, Stay Safe.
