Artist Ha Pu Rangaswamy’s solo painting exhibition at Natana on July 14

Mysuru: A solo painting exhibition of artist Ha Pu Rangaswamy has been organised on Wednesday at Natana School of Theatre Arts, Ramakrishna Nagar in the city.

Rangaswamy is known for his water colour paintings among the artists in the city.

A drawing teacher at Jnanabandhu School in the city, Rangaswamy is regularly exhibiting his works at Dasara exhibition during every year since 1996. He has won first prize several times and has been credited for taking the medium of water colours to another level. His works in both creative and traditional styles have been published in various journals.

Chikkanna D HOD Sri Kalaniketana, Mysuru will inaugurate the exhibition at 11 am. Mayor Anwar Baig and MUDA chairman H V Rajeev will be the chief guests. Senior journalist Anil Kumar G H and Anand Babu President of Natana Samsthe will be present.

Y K Ramamurthy and troupe will plant a sapling, according to a press release.
