Armed with JDS win in MLC poll, Sa Ra Mahesh sharpens his fangs against detractors

Mysuru: With JDS clinching victory at the last minute in the recent election to Legislative Council from Mysuru- Chamarajanagar local bodies constituency, former minister and JDS K R Nagar MLA Sa Ra Mahesh has sharpened his fangs against the detractors.
Addressing media persons along with newly elected MLC C N Manjegowda, Sa Ra Mahesh said “JDS has proved its power in Mysuru region. We will start filtering the anti- party leaders as soon as possible,” said Mahesh without taking any names.
Mahesh in a mocking tone said “We address them as our senior leaders, but they cheated us. We will henceforth call them as only MLA”, said Mahesh indirectly hitting out at Chamundeshwari MLA G T Devegowda who allegedly supported Congress in the election.
BJP gave voting rights to nominated members also, which caused a hurdle for the smooth victory of JDS, alleged Mahesh.
Lashing out at the rivals, newly elected MLC C N Manjegowda said ” I am also ready to talk against Cooperation Minister S T Somashekar and those whoever made allegations against me. Our party leaders who cheated us can be called as donkeys.”
Former mayors R Lingappa and M J Ravikumar, JDS city unit President K T Chaluvegowda, JDS state Spokesperson N R Ravichandrwgowda, Corporator S B M Manju and former ZP member Beerihundi Basavanna were present.
