Appu’s ‘Gandhada Gudi’ Wildlife documentary teaser a smashing hit

Mysuru: 32,000 views, 53,000 likes and zero dislike…all in 56 minutes.
This was how overwhelmingly the teaser of ‘Gandhada Gudi’ the wildlife documentary made by Puneeth Rajkumar’s PRK Productions and Mudskipper was received within one hour of its launch on Monday.
It was in commemoration of Parvathamma Rajkumar’s 82nd birth anniversary.
Gone by its name, Gandhada Gudi meaning “Abode of Sandalwood” to highlight the natural resources of Karnataka, irrespective of flora and fauna, the title is derived from all time hit movie of legendary actor of Kannada cinema Dr Rajkumar father of Puneeth Rajkumar. However, the fans to wait to explore this adventurous journey on screen till 2022.
Just days before Puneeth death, the actor himself had disclosed his dream of exploring forests in a cinematic journey.
The film is reportedly a collaboration between Puneeth Rajkumar and wildlife photographer and filmmaker Amoghavarsha.
The music is being composed by Ajaneesh Loknath and Cinematography by Pratheek Shetty.
The trailer featuring Puneeth Rajkumar and wildlife photographer Amoghavarsha experiencing forest trails is a visual treat for Appu’s fans and wildlife lovers.
Rajkumar’s popular call in Gandhada Gudi movie to save forest and wildlife resonates in the backdrop in the end, with Appu in camouflaged green in rain is really an icing on the top.
Appu may have passed away on October 29, but will continue to live on.
