Mysuru: Apollo BGS Hospitals, Mysuru, has reached a significant milestone by successfully completing 100 liver transplants, marking a first for the region. As the only multi-organ transplant center in Mysuru, this achievement highlights the hospital’s leadership in advanced medical care.
Since obtaining its kidney transplant license in 2003, Apollo BGS Hospitals has expanded its capabilities, securing liver transplant approval in 2017 and becoming the region’s first licensed multi-organ transplant center in 2020. This milestone underscores the hospital’s commitment to offering cutting-edge medical services.
The success of the liver transplant program is attributed to the hospital’s team of expert in-house surgeons and a multidisciplinary group of specialists, including gastroenterologists, hepatologists, anesthetists, and intensivists.
