Anveshana on Digital Transformations– Opportunities & Challenges sees key discussions

Mysuru: A one- day National Multi-Disciplinary Conference Anveshana on Digital Transformations – Opportunities & Challenges was held on April 4 at 10:00 AM at the directives of the IQAC and the Research and Development Cell “Prayoga”.

The Theme of the conference was “Digital
Transformations -Opportunities & Challenges”.

A host of dignitaries attended the
National Seminar, B A Anantharam, Chairman, Seshadripuram Educational Trust, M S Nataraj, Honorary Secretary, Seshadipuram Educational Trust and Archana Swamy N., Principal, SIPUC.

The session was chaired by Prof Gangadhar, Vice- Chancellor, Chamarajanagar University while Dr Sunil M V, Assistant Professor in Systems & General Management, SDMIMD, Mysore, delivered the Keynote address.

Furthermore, “Nadoja” Dr Wooday P Krishna, Honorary General Secretary, Seshadripuram Educational Trust, presided over the session.
Dr Sowmya Erappa K, Pincipal, welcomed the audience.

Addressing the gathering, the Vice- Chancellor Gangadhar laid out the importance of multidisciplinary courses as well as framing learning curriculum as a medley of tradition and technology.

He opined on the endless opportunities concerning the technology which has been thrown to the youth. Moreover, he laid more emphasis on the possibility of upskilling a specific branch of knowledge.

In his keynote address, Dr Sunil MV delivered a befitting lecture on the evolution of Digital transformation and AI as well as the potential of AI to change the trajectory of Human lot.

Additionally, “Nadoja” Dr Wooday P Krishna, Honorary General Secretary, Seshadripuram Educational Trust, underscored the Man’s reliance on technology and its attendant benefits.

The Conference constitutes a technical session wherein experts and erudite
scholars proceed with epistemological dialogues in the specific domain as well as
the paper presentation which is an expression of the inventive geniuses of the
presenters.

During the technical session in Computer Science, Nitish Koushik S, Technology Architect, Infosys, demonstrated the potential of AI in generating stunning codes.

He cautioned the deprivation of creativity indeed. Ashwin D G, Founder, WIN Research Centre gave an exposition on the importance of Internship, Skill Development, Data Science. Cyber security and Gamification.

Furthermore, he emphasised on the need for education. Whereas in technical session of Commerce, Prof G Sudarshana Reddy, Professor in Commerce, Tumkur University stressed on the customer centric tendency seen today.

He gave a lecture on the inevitability of brands that draw attention to the customer. The technical session in Library Sciences was chaired by Dr C P Ramasesh, Retd. Librarian and Visiting Professor, University of Mysore,
who gave a generic perspective of Legal issues in research reporting and acquisition of resources.

While the presentation session was by Prof M Chandrashekhara, Senior Professor and chairman, Department of studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore.

In a first, Students of Seshadripuram Degree College presented the papers on
subject specific domains and gave an excellent presentation in their topics.

The session concluded with the valedictory session wherein Theja Mohan M S,
Founder, Wisdom Money, who assumed as the chief guest gave a comprehensive
lecture on AI and its course of development since time immemorial.

He laid out the influence of AI in economic domain and opined of the strengthening the
collaboration of digital empowerment with technology.

In addition to this, he lectured on Digital Dinosaurs, Digital Immigrants and Digital Natives. Moreover, he hinted the passive dangers in AI.

All in all, about 100 research papers were
received and 124 participants in all participated in both online and offline paper
presentations.
