Amit Shah calls for Siddaramaiah’s defeat, Somanna’s victory in Varuna

Mysuru: In a no holds barred attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lambasted Opposition Leader in Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah and gave a call for the electorates of Varuna to defeat the Congress leader and elect BJP’S V Somanna by a big margin in the Assembly elections on May 10.

Amit Shah who raked up the issue of Siddaramaiah’s remark against Lingayat Chief Ministers calling them corrupt, took the names of S Nijalingappa and Veerendra Patil also Lingayats and how they were removed from chief minister’s office by Congress. While BJP made B S Yediyurappa the chief minister.

Shah also promised the voters that Somanna will be richly rewarded by the party, if he emerges victorious in the elections.

He also gave a call to the voters to support BJP and re-elect Narendra Modi as Prime Minister in 2024 Lok Sabha elections for the safety and security of the country.

Amit Shah also sought the support of voters for T Narasipur BJP candidate Dr Revanna in the election.

Former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Housing Minister and BJP candidate V Somanna, former MP and actor Shashikumar, Dr Revanna, Karnataka State Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman Kote Shivanna, former MLC C Ramesh, BJP rural President Mangala Somashekar, BJP leaders Devanur Prathap, Ka Pu Siddalinga Swamy and others were present.
