Amateur artist gifts outgoing DC a pencil sketch portrait

Mandya: The outgoing Deputy Commissioner S Ashwathi was gifted a pencil sketch portrait drawn by amateur artist M H Mahendra Prasad recently.
Mahendra Prasad gifted the artefact to Ashwathi in recognition of her unblemished service as the deputy commissioner for one-and-a-half years.
She has been transferred as the commissioner of department of animal husbandry and veterinary services, Bengaluru.
Ashwathi is replaced by Dr H N Gopalakrishna who took charge of office on Thursday.
