All five UG Programs of MITM get NBA accreditation

Mysuru: All the five Under Graduate Programs of Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore (MITM) have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, recently, for the academic years 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24.
The programs are- Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Science & Engineering and Mechanical Engineering courses.
The NBA, a quality assurance agency, ensures that the education offered at the institute to students is in line with the Outcome Based Education (OBE) philosophy.
It also ensures that all the academic and professional transformations are aligned at the institute in a way that facilitates desiring minds with ample exposure and opportunities to harness their talents through this OBE philosophy.
Also, being accredited by the NBA opens up new avenues to the students in terms of better placements and preference over their contemporaries.
Principal, MITM Dr Naresh Kumar B G, Dr D S Guru, Chairman, Governing Council, MITM, Dr T Vasudev, Secretary, MET and Dr S Murali, President, MET, have congratulated all the staff, students and other stakeholders on achieving this landmark.
