All set for Dasara! CM Yediyurappa calls on writer S L Bhyrappa

Mysuru: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has called on popular writer S L Bhyrappa on September 28.
Bhyrappa is selected to inaugurate navaratri festival atop Chamundi Hill on September 29. Yediyurappa met Bhyrappa at the latter’s residence in Kuvempunagar. The chief minister also felicitated Bhyrappa.
As per the tradition this time, Dasara will be inaugurated during the auspicious vrushchika lagnam between 9.39 am and 10.25 am on September 29.
The floral tributes will be offered to the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari at the specially erected dais in front of Chamundeshwari temple at the hill in the presence of Chief Minister B S, Union ministers D V Sadananda Gowda, Pralhad Joshi and Suresh Angadi, deputy chief ministers Govind Karjol, Laxman C Savadi and Dr C N Ashwathnarayan.
District minister V Somanna, Tourism Minister C T Ravi and Muzrai Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath ad ZP President Parimala Shyam. MLA G T Devegowda will preside.
