Alert KSRTC bus driver saves passengers from major accident near Doora village

Mysuru: Passengers of a KSRTC bus going towards Hullahalli in Nanjangud taluk from Mysuru City had a providential escape, as the alert driver averted what could have led to a major mishap near Doora village on Thursday.
The steering of the bus got cut, forcing the driver, to plough the vehicle into a agricultural farm, bringing the vehicle to a halt, as the passengers heaved a sigh of relief. A electric pole is also installed near the spot, but the bus driver meticulously drove with caution, before stopping the bus.
The accident occurred just a few metres away from the Varuna canal, the retaining walls of which are already damaged, with safety measures thrown to the wind.
The passengers, were seen thanking the driver for his presence of mind, that saved their lives.
