Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva-Lingayat Mahasabha wants Yediyurappa to continue as CM

Mysuru: In the wake of speculations over changing Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Akhila Bharatha Veerashaiva Lingayath Mahasabha has urged the BJP high command to continue Yediyurappa as Chief Minister.
On Friday Mahasabha central committee member T S Lokesh told media “B S Yediyurappa’s recent statements hinting at demitting office is unacceptable.”
Yediyurappa is the whole and sole leader of the Veerashaiva and Lingayat community. The community has lent a huge support to Yediyurappa and BJP in Karnataka. In this wake, we urge BJP state and national leaders to continue Yediyurappa as CM for the remaining term, he added.
Lingayat community has stood with Yediyurappa in his journey and the community has so far given eight Chief Ministers to the State. Yediyurappa united the community and also took other communities into confidence. So it’s the wish of all to continue Yediyurappa as CM, Lokesh stated.
Veerashaiva- lingayat leaders Hinkal Basavaraju, Doora Shivakumar, Varuna Mahesh, C Guruswamy and others were present.
