Mysuru: Ahead of Dasara, city police are on high alert. As a precautionary measure, the city police have intensified security after 8 PM.
To check any untoward incidents, the police are keen on taking stringent measures. Night patrolling is intensified with the Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta and DCP (Crime and Traffic) supervising the arrangements.
On Wednesday, Geetha Prasanna directed N R sub-division police to be on high alert. As part of the duty, the police have been instructed to keep an on eye rowdy activities and hooligans.
Any gatherings after 8 pm, will be strictly dealt with the sole motive of ensuring fool proof Dasara.
