After Tanveer Sait case, SDPI in news again for wrong reasons

1 min read

Mysuru: Close on the heels of the murder bid on former minister and MLA Tanveer Sait, which has put Social Democratic Party of India ( SDPI) in the dock, comes yet another shocking revelation putting the party in the dock yet again.

Six SDPI workers are arrested by Bengaluru police on the charge of hatching a plot to eliminate right- wing leader Chakravarthi Sulibele and Bengaluru South BJP MP Tejasvi Surya.

When Sait was attacked on the premises of Bal Bhavan in Bannimantap on November 17, the onlookers had caught hold of the assailant identified as Farhan Pasha. He had been identified as SDPI worker who had plotted to get rid of Sait, along with his accomplices.

However, SDPI leaders had been constantly denying that the accused were a part of the organisation.
