After tahsildar’s transfer, MLA Harshavardhan holds DC responsible for Nanjangud temple demolition

Mysuru: Two days after Nanjangud tahsildar M Mohan Kumari was transferred over the demolition of Adishakti Mahadevamma temple at Huchgani in the taluk, MLA B Harshavardhan held deputy commissioner responsible for the demolition of the temple.
Harshavardhan told media on Wednesday, “the tahsildar had given positive reports to save the temple, while DC ordered to demolish the temple ignoring the reports of tahsildar.”
Harshavardhan said “personally I am unhappy for Mohan Kumari’s transfer and will surely talk to chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in this regard”.
