After several months ‘Bettada Huli’ spotted at Himavad Gopalaswamy Hill

Gundlupet: “Bettada Huli” as the tiger at Himavad Gopalaswamy hill range in Bandipur National Tiger Reserve Forest is popular as among tourists was spotted on Tuesday.

On Tuesday evening around 4-30 pm, the travellers coming from Gopalaswamy hill in KSRTC bus were surprised to witness the tiger in relax mood. It was spotted near the long curve leading to the checkpost.

It was after a gap of several months that the tiger aged around 6-7 years was sighted. It became popular during post lockdown season as it was frequently sighted much to the delight of wildlife lovers.

As the tiger was sighted in the last trip of the bus, tourists and forest personnel on board were lucky to see the big cat. But the bus didn’t stop and the visuals have gone viral now.
