After battling for life for 30 hours, rape victim dies in hospital

Mumbai: After battling for life for over 30 hours, a rape victim succumbed at a hospital on Saturday.
The 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped in a stationary tempo between Thursday and Friday. When the police found her, she was lying in an unconscious state. She had been admitted to a hospital in Rajwadi.
Sakinaka police have already arrested an accused identified as Mohan Chauhan from Rajasthan in the case.
The perpetrator had also assaulted the woman and had inserted irod rod into her private part.
The disturbing incident occurred at Sakinaka sub-urban area.
Following her death, police have booked both rape and murder case against the accused arrested in the case.
