1 min read

Mysuru: Even as the authorities are fighting against dreaded Coronavirus, the fear of contracting other types of viruses cannot be ruled out.

As some parts of the state earlier reported swine fever and bird flu, a herd of stray pigs frequently spotted at Gokulam off KRS road in the city has triggered a cause of concern among people.

Paduvarahalli Ramakrishna advocate and vice- president of The Mysore Cooperative Bank has alleged that the menace of pigs at Ward six- Gokulam is on the rise. He has shared photos and video of the pigs feeding on a roadside in Gokulam.

As the locality is one of the containment zones as declared by authorities, Ramakrishna wants authorities to act before the situation goes out of hand.
