ADGP Amrit Paul reviews management of Covid crises in Southern Range

Mysuru: ADGP Amrit Paul held a review meeting with police officers of southern range on the management of prevailing crises over Covid-19.
On Thursday Director General and Inspector General of Police Praveen Sood appointed top IPS officers for variousrangers in the state as in-charge to review the Covid situation in various regions. Accordingly IPS Officer Amrit Paul has been appointed for southern range covering Mysuru, Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Hassan and Kodagu districts.
Paul who visited Mandya district first around 1 PM, held a meeting with SP Ashwini and other officers before coming to Mysuru. IGP (southern range) Madhukar Pawar, SP CB Ryshyanth and additional SP Shivakumar were present.
Paul instructed the new officers to report about Covid management in respective regions before April 26 and also to make frequent visits to monitor the situation in compliance with the norms listed by the government.
