Actor Kamal Haasan unwell, treated at hospital

Chennai: Renowned film actor Kamal Haasan fell sick and was hospitalised on Wednesday. He was discharged from hospital after 24 hours of observation on Thursday.
According to sources close to the actor, the 68-year-old Kamal Haasan was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) for a regular check up. However he developed fever and was advised rest by the doctors for a couple of days.
Kamal who recently returned from Hyderabad, had also met his mentor and renowned director K Vishwanath there.
Kamal is busy shooting for Big Boss Tamil season- 6. He has also collaborated with director Shankar for Indian-2.
Of late, he has been busy with many projects especially after the stupendous success of his latest venture Vikram.
He is also into politics with his own party- Makkal Needhi Maiam, on which he contested the recent Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
