Actor Allu Arjun arrested by Hyderabad police

Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun has been arrested in connection with stampede that claimed the life of a woman, on December 4 during the premier show of Pushpa 2, at Sandhya theatre in the city.
Hyderabad police have arrested Telugu actor Allu Arjun days after he moved the Court, seeking quashing of FIR filed in the case.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Zone), Akshansh Yadav, confirmed that a case was registered at the Chikkadpally police station based on a complaint from the deceased woman’s family.
The charges include culpable homicide not amounting to murder (Section 105 of the BNS Act) and voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt [Section 118(1) read with 3(5)].
Further investigation is underway.
