Acting VC of JSS-STU Siddaramaiah no more

Mysuru: Acting Vice-chancellor of JSS Science and Technology University (JSS- STU) Dr Siddaramaiah passed away on Monday. He was 56.
Siddaramaiah had suffered cardiac arrest at his Ramakrishna Nagar residence in the city two days ago. He was undergoing treatment at JSS Hospital where he succumbed.
He was serving as the Head of Department of Polymer Sciences, JSS- STU formerly Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE).
Siddaramaiah is survived by his wife Dr Hemalatha, Professor of Anaesthesiology, JSS Medical College, Mysuru and daughter Chinmayee S doing her masters in California.
Several rcademicians and educationists have condoled the demise of Siddaramaiah.
