ACB digs out more valuables from Hemavathi sub-division EE’s bank lockers

Mysuru: In a continued probe into the charges of assets disproportionate to the known sources of of income, ACB personnel unearthed more valuables in the bank lockers of an engineer in the city.
ACB squad inspected two lockers of Hemavathi Sub- division executive engineer Srinivas, at a bank branch in Saraswatipuram.
Srinivas was raided Wednesday and the lockers were opened in the presence of Srinivas and his wife on Thursday.
In all one kg and 83 grams of gold and 60 grams silver were seized along with various property documents. The five to six member team of officers calculated the overall assets.
On Wednesday too, ACB had seized 1.5 kg of gold from Srinivas’ house in KR Pet in Mandya district.
